OUR GLOBAL COMMITMENT

At Kyani & Co., we believe what we create can carry a purpose beyond itself.

Our commitment to sustainability is rooted in pilina—the relationships and connections that remind us of our responsibility to care for one another, our communities, and the places we call home.

This belief guides our alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—17 interconnected goals that provide a shared framework for improving the well-being of people, strengthening communities, protecting our planet, and building a more sustainable future.

Our work currently aligns with three of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

SDG 01 — NO POVERTY

Disasters can create sudden financial hardship, disrupt livelihoods, and make basic necessities more difficult to access. Supporting recovery means helping communities meet immediate needs while strengthening their ability to rebuild and move forward.

SDG 03 — GOOD HEALTH & WELL-BEING

Well-being is shaped by the conditions in which people live. During times of crisis, access to essentials such as food, clean water, hygiene necessities, and emergency supplies can help protect the health and well-being of affected communities.

SDG 17 — PARTNERSHIPS FOR THE GOALS

Meaningful change is stronger when we work together. By connecting the efforts of individuals, businesses, organizations, and communities, we can share resources, knowledge, and support to create a greater collective impact.

FROM PURPOSE TO ACTION

Through Pearls for the Pacific, we put these commitments into practice by directing 30% of every purchase toward disaster relief and recovery efforts across Hawaiʻi and the Pacific.

Jewelry is our craft, and it is one of the things we have to give.
