These valuable pearls are found to be amongst the rarest pearls as they are produced from the Akoya oyster which only produces 1-2 pearls per cycle. They also hold historicial significance in the jewelry and pearl industry as the first pearls to be successfully cultivated in 1893. Our rare Akoya pearls feature a natural silver overtone and are famously known for their durability and shine.
